Are you ready for your PADI Equipment Specialist Course
Thorough preparation makes its own luck and with the PADI Equipment Specialist course you will be fully prepared for a variety of potential kit issues.
Whether an O-Ring blows, a wet suit tears or a fin strap breaks, if you’re not prepared, you’re not diving.
This course will walk you through how to maintain, care for and adjust your scuba diving equipment should you encounter problems.
You will also gain a deep understanding of how your kit functions, assisting you when looking to make an investment on new equipment.
The deeper the understanding you have of your kit, the more comfortable you will be in it and the more relaxed you will feel should an issue arise.
Skills You Will Learn
- Review theory, principles and operation of scuba diving equipment
- A deeper understanding of recommended care, maintenance procedures, and equipment storage
- How to overcome common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures
- Gain simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new gear (may include optional confined water dive to try new or unfamiliar equipment)
