Open Water and Specialty Training Weekend at Guildenburgh 19th-20th July

Coming up this month is a packed weekend at Guildenburgh Water. We have several specialty courses going on including Dry Suit and SMB as well a large number of students completing their Open Water course. There is still some space left especially if you fancy doing your SMB specialty but let us know quickly as we will need to get your theory and a pool session done before we go.

DIVERS GET DIVERS – Go Dive 2008

Your chance to win PADI products and a holiday for two through Orca and PADI. We are always looking to encourage others to try our sport and if you are already an Orca diver you can do the same and get the chance to win prizes as well. The process is simple.

• You get your friends to complete an Open Water Course with Orca.
• Orca gives you an Orca shirt to say thank you.
• We complete an entry form and send it to PADI.
• Each month one winner is drawn by PADI.
• One overall winner is drawn at the end of the promotion. (That’s right – you don’t need to do anything other than tell people!)

Monthly Prize Draw:

• The winning diver gets £100 to spend on PADI Products or Courses.
• The winning diver’s new dive buddy gets £25 to spend on PADI Products or Courses.

Overall Prize Draw:

• The overall winner for 2008 will win a holiday for two.

In April 2008, our intrepid twosome moved on from their Master Scuba Diver into the professional ranks to become Dive Masters. This is a great personal achievement for both who worked extremely hard to develop their skills and theoretical knowledge.

Both have now completed internships with Orca and can undertake try dives so you will see both regularly at our pool sessions on Tuesday evenings.
