We have had a busy few weeks what with the new pool at South Woodhan Ferrers Leisure Centre and all the school teaching we are now doing.

The South Woodhan pool is going well , Heather and the seal team are have fun and there diving skills and confidence is improving all the time.At the same time we are useing the pool for other courses Gill has been puting her DMTs though there paces with the swims , floats and snorkel and will soon start on there skills circuit.

The teaching in local schools has been going well , we are working with Billericay , Mayflower , James Honsby , Castledon and the Academys all of which have there different problems.Working with different young people gives me a great feeling of giveing something  back to people who would not normaly get the opportunity to dive and all the staff who have helpd out  say its very rewarding.

We hope that most of the students will be going to Open Water with us in the summer . We will be going down to Buckland Lake in Kent. Some will be in school time others at the weekend . The group we took down last year from James Hornsby had a great time and all passed. The comments we got from other divers around on that weekend where very complementary and this from a school which locals say has a problem with students ?

Had a great night in the pool Tuesday .Gill was working with her Open Water Course with the help of Graham and James. All went well with the theory and in the pool the students had a goog time compleating the skills.

Dave was going over the Rescue Course getting ready for Sunday when he is going to Open Water at Buckland lake.Crrrie and Ian finished of there Dry Suit Course and had a play with some lift bags , SMDs and reels.

 Peter was doing a DSD with young Bradly.

Steve was pool side going though kit set up for the TDI course and some old friends pop into the water for a play.

As promised an up date on tuesday nights pool. Peter and i where first in with 3 young D.S.Ds Dylan , conner and carl.These guys all know each other as they all ride for the same moto-x team,and you could see the team spirit between then.

As i was getting out Dave was getting ready with the RESCUE COURSE to get in on dive 4 (confined water). With the help of Graham (ASSISTANT INSTUCTOR) and Peter (DIVEMASTER) Peter was in the water a lot last night.All had a good time and afterwoods in BAR 50 said that it is the best course that PADI do.

At the same time we had Gill in starting an PADI OPEN WATER COURSE with the help of James (DIVEMASTER in training). Both John and Billy father and son enjoyed the first night and already talking about going to OPEN WATER.

To finish of the night we had Keith (DIVEMASTER) in working with Mary on the DIGTAL UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHER COURSE with his mini reef ,sorry Keith had to mention that.

So all in all a good night ,looking forward to open water on saturday at Bucklands where we are doing a DRY SUIT COURSE and OPEN WATER DIVES 1 and 2 ,will let you know how we get on .

Pool night and we have D.C.Y. working with the PADI RESCUE COURSE.Tonight he is on confined dive 4 ,the guys are doing well and haveing a good laugh at the same time.

Gill will be starting a new PADI OPEN WATER COURSE ,Gill is working with Graham one of our Assistant Instructors and 2 D.M.s in traning.

As well as that we have  Pam taking Liyder on a D.S.D. and Keith working with the camera. I will let you know how it went tomorrow

Hi hope you like the look of the new web site. Gary will be keeping the blog up to date and letting you know what is going on at the pool and dive trips coming up.

We hope to be in Buckland Lake soon with a rescue course and soon advanced open water divers. If any one fancies a dive all are welcome. Dates to be confirmed but will be in December.
